Avocados are possible to balance hormones, to boost metabolism, and to fight against different diseases.

Avocados are consisted of plant sterols, something like beta-sitosterol, which are consisted of  antiestrogenic characteristics, plus have the ability to obstruct the estrogen receptors in the cells and bring the rates of estrogen absorption at minimum. Therefore, it extends the progesterone levels in women and testosterone levels in men.

Avocados have extremely good characteristics against aging found in both the flesh and the oil, something that a big number of people are not even aware of. It was found out some time ago from several experts that avocados have powerful anti-aging characteristics that give protection against free radicals. Avocados have the ability to enter deeply inside the cell structures, penetrate into the mitochondria and initiate its production of energy, which helps the cells to work in the right way, no matter if they are attacked the whole time by the free radicals. The mitochondria is essential when it comes to fighting against free radicals. They are the main elements in the cells that give out a lot of the cells energy taken from the nutrients. Sadly, they have also a bad part – they produce chemicals that are not so stable and that cause damage to both the mitochondria and several other cellular elements. This damage has negative effects to aging and therefore the main goal of the educated scientists is to discover medicines that will turn around this damage. Luckily, the scientists discover this solution into avocado oil! This newly found information may reverse our opinion about avocados in an amazing way. Dr. Christian Cortez-Rojo, who was the leader of this design research pointed out that “avocado oil provokes accelerated breathing in mitochondria, a situation that shows that the usage of nutrients in order to produce energy for the function of the cells it continues to be effective regardless if the cells are under attack of free radicals, plus that mitochondria can give out small quantity of damaging free radicals.”
